great location but mattress too soft
The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist! The room was spotlessly clean and perfectly located near the water bus station, dining options, and sights. I loved the stunning city view from my room, which added charm to my stay.
The mattress was too soft for my liking, which caused some discomfort during sleep.

Oi, I loved how close this place was to St Marks! Only a quick stroll away, and the staff were ever so helpful, giving us cracking dinner tips. Only downside? The shower could've been a bit more powerful, but still had a smashing time!

The staff was courteous and friendly.
The check-in experience was appalling. The initial room was dark and smelly , but they only reluctantly offered a better room after I raised my concerns forcefully. I was charged more than what was initially stated for a different room, which felt deceptive and left a sour taste during my stay.

Had a great time with friends! The hotel is just a short stroll to St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was super friendly, and the place was kept clean. The elevator is a big plus after a long day exploring. Don't miss the delightful terrace for breakfast and the fantastic croissants!
One thing to keep in mind, the shower pressure wasn't very strong, which made rinsing off a bit of a hassle.

Oi, the breakfast options could've been tighter, but don’t sleep on the restaurants nearby! I had an unforgettable meal at Trattoria Pizzeria da Roberto, just a hop away, and the croissants at the terrace were a heavenly start to the day. Plus, my room was spotless and super comfortable—better than I’d hoped for!
But honestly, it hardly dulled the shine. getting tips from staff about nearby cafes made it worth the while!

missingWrote a review on May 29charming atmospherefantastic locationdelicious breakfastcramped showerbrusque staffmorning noise
Fontana offers a charming atmosphere right in the heart of Venice, just a stone's throw from St Marks Square. My room had beautiful Venetian windows that allowed a lovely breeze, enhancing the quaint vibe. The bathroom was compact but well-kept, and I appreciated the daily towel changes. Breakfast included a splendid array of pastries, fresh cheese, and coffee. I often felt fueled for the day after indulging. The lift made getting to my room easy, which was a plus after exploring the streets. I did face some difficulties with the shower. It was a bit cramped, and I wish the water pressure was stronger. the staff experiences varied. While most were welcoming, a couple seemed a bit brusque during check-in, which left me slightly unsettled. The location is superb, but with the crowds nearby, noise in the early mornings from the restaurants was unavoidable. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel’s ambiance and fantastic location convinced me that it’s worth considering for Venice stays.
